Hey MMCC family!
As you know, we've been working closely with Stearns County Parks to make the Quarry Park mountain bike trails a reality. We are getting close, but right now, we need YOUR voice to help keep the momentum going!
We’ve put together a sample letter that outlines the history of this project. Please take a few minutes to review it, and use it as inspiration to craft your own personal letter to the Stearns County Commissioners and/or Parks Commission.
When you write to the Commissioners, sharing your personal stories about why local outdoor recreation matters to you and your family makes the biggest impact.
One quick reminder: As you draft your letters, please keep the tone light, positive, and encouraging! A friendly, optimistic approach goes a long way in showing the County the supportive and welcoming nature of our cycling community.
Let's flood their inboxes with positive energy and show them how much these trails mean to us!

About MMCC
Mid Minnesota Cycling Club “MMCC” is a non-profit and volunteer led organization dedicated to supporting the Central MN Cycling Community through creating Partnerships with Local City, County, State, and Federal Organizations for building and maintaining bike trails. We believe youth can take themselves to great heights through the discovery of proud pedal strokes. MMCC supports introducing cycling through youth experiences, High School clubs and workshops for all ages.
Area Trails
MMCC works with governmental entities through public-private partnerships to create and maintain single track trails in the St. Cloud area.
MMCC also collaborates with the local ski club to maintain our current flag ship trail, the Jail Trail. The Club has a user agreement with the Stearns County Parks Department to build a new single-track trail at Quarry Park.
